Step 4: Cooking Cherries (Oven Method)
Note: this method is currently in testing. I have done it before, but I am not sure that the cooking times are fully accurate. If you try the oven method, Be sure to keep an eye on these as you are cooking because I might have been wrong. I will update this page with the exact cooking times the next time i make them inside. (or if someone out there makes them and lets me know first.)
1. preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. place skewers on the outer lips of a baking pan so the cherries are not touching the bottom
3. Place in oven until bacon is fully cooked (about 5 to 10 minutes, ).
3. remove from oven and baste each cherry completely with honey mixture, then place back in oven for another 2 to 4 minutes.
4. serve hot out of the oven and watch them disappear.
