Step 1Wrapping the Spamwiches

Wrapping the Spamwiches

First you need to cut up the Spam (try the Bacon Spam, it really adds a certain je ne sais quois) into slices that will fit well on the club crackers.  It's best that the slices aren't too thick.  Try to keep the slices smaller than 1/4 inch.

Second, you place the Spam slices on the crackers and then wrap each cracker with the thin sliced bacon, making sure to cover the whole cracker.  Do not wrap the bacon too tightly around the cracker or you will end up with a cracker that looks like it's been put in a girdle.

Finally, place the wrapped crackers on a baking sheet and bake them at 250 degrees for an hour.
