Introduction: Barrette Organizer
Materials:
- 3 Empty duct tape rolls
- 1 (not empty) roll of duct tape
- 2 small foam sheets
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun with sticks
Step 1: The Base
Stack and duct tape the three empty duct tape rolls together. You have your base!
Step 2: The Barrette Holder
Take one of your foam sheets, and fold it in half hot dog style (refer to the picture if you do not understand this terminology). Cut slits in the foam, making sure you are cutting from the inside of the foam out. Unfold the foam sheet. Wrap the foam sheet around the base, and duct tape the sheet to the base in the back.
Step 3: The Bottom
Set your organizer on top of the other sheet of foam. Trace with your pencil around the inside of the organizer. Cut out the circle from the foam sheet. Push it into the organizer's bottom by setting the organizer on top of it. Heat up your glue gun, and glue around the inside edge of the organizer's bottom. After doing so, flip the organizer upside down, and glue around the rim. Let the glue cool and dry completely.
Good job! You have finished your barrette organizer! If barrettes just aren't your thing, keep the organizer turned upside down and you have a new bongo drum! Otherwise, flip it upright!
Step 4: Organize!!
Clip your barrettes onto the foam slits, and have fun organizing! Pony tail holders, combs, brushes, headbands, and more can be stashed away in the center!
