Step 1: Combine Ingredients
Combine 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup salt, 2 tablespoons cream of tartar, 1 cup water, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, green food coloring, and 1 tsp basil bakery emulsion in a medium-sized, non-stick saucepan. Stir well.
Step 2: Heat and Stir
Heat over medium to medium-high heat, constantly stirring. The dough will start to thicken quickly.Heat and stir until the dough becomes a ball.
Step 3: Glitterize and Play!
Remove from heat and turn out dough onto your clean, flat surface. A dusting of flour will keep the dough from sticking if needed. The dough will be warm but cools quickly. Knead the dough as it cools, mixing in green and gold disco dust or craft glitter. Once the dough has completely cooled, store in a sealed zip lock bag. It will last for months!
