Bat Dog?

Halloween is on it's way, and what better way to prepare than to make a dog costume?

Step 1Supplies.

Alright, first let's gather some supplies...
1. You'll need to find a dog, any will do, but a black one tends to work best, seeing as most bat's are in fact black. By the way, I know it's highly unlikely the dog you find will be as perfect as the one I have selected, but try your best, I have faith in you.
2. Some pipe cleaners
3. Cardoboard
4. Some sort of black stretchy fabric. I picked this little number up at a thrift shop for one washington.
5. Some industrial strength velcro, this can be replaced with regular velcro if your pet is not as hyper as mine.
6. Also some tools: Sewing thread and supplies, scissors, some black paint or marker.

Just to comment, I have even a better dog for this ; ) He's a french bulldog, mostly black with a cute white strip on his face, and white on his belly.

Great wings! I think my black pomeranian makes a good candidate for them. I think I'm going to give it a try. I always thought he looked like a bat anyway.

That is the cutest dog I've ever seen!! I've seen a lot too, I currently have 6 puppies and 5 adults. Only 2 live inside tho!! What kind is your pup? Looks like a boston terrier, chihuahua mix. The costume is cute too!
