As I was going through all of my batteries and other stuff trying to find two AAA batteries that just wouldn't come out, I thought, Why not make a battery organizer to organize all of my batteries in an orderly fashion? So I set out to make it and thought, Why not make it out of Popsicle sticks? and add it to my new series of instructables, Popsicle stick hacks. So I did, and this will be The second one in the series right after my Popsicle stick bender, which can be found here. So, here is my second Popsicle stick hack.

Step 1: Materials

All you need is Popsicle sticks and a hot glue gun (or any kind of glue of your choice).

Step 2: Building the Base

First you are going to need to build the base. Just glue Popsicle sticks like in the pictures and then your good. For the first part (top picture) you need two Popsicle sticks together lengthwise so they form an "extremely long" Popsicle stick if you will, and then you add glue to another one and put it on top of the two to hold them together.

For the second base thing (bottom picture) you do the same except you add two more on the top so it is symetrical.

Step 3: Gluing the Bases Together

Mostly just follow the pictures, they are in order. You need to take two of the bigger bases and spread them out on opposite ends of a battery (whichever size that you want), leave a little room and then glue them to a regular Popsicle stick. Then do the same with the bottom. Then do the same for the other battery holders until you have as many as you want. Now you are going to need the smaller bases. You then glue these down parallel to the big bases as shown in the pictures. These are so the batteries don't fall out of the front. Then repeat this process as many times as you need for all of your battery holding slots.

Step 4: Adding the "Catcher"

First put a Popsicle stick arrangement to be the bottom of the slots like shown in the pictures. Now just glue a Popsicle stick like shown in the picture at a 45 degree angle to catch the batteries when they fall down the slot.

Step 5: Adding the Back

Now just glue a piece of paper to the back and cut off the excess. You also want to cut off the extra Popsicle sticks from the edges.

Step 6: Adding the Stand

Now you just need to make a triangle type stand and glue it to the main slots. Try to follow the picture as closely as possible. Then Your done!!

Step 7: Finished

Now your done!! Thank you for taking the time to view this and I hope yours works for you.

Also, every view, every vote, every favorite counts. Thank You
