Introduction: Beer Goggles - the Economy Version

In a previous Instructable, KronoNaut showed us how to make Steampunk Beer Goggles from beer bottles and welding goggles.Since I’m too lazy to figure out how to cut glass beer bottles, and too cheap to buy welding goggles, I came up with this economy version using sunglasses and beer cans.

Step 1: Here's What You Need

Materials needed:

Two empty beer cans—Any brand will do.I don’t drink MGD, but I got these donated to me by a friend.

Cheap sunglasses—I got mine at the Dollar Store.

Tools needed:

Can opener

Knife

Pliers

Krazy Glue or hot glue gun

Step 2: Step 1

Cut the tops of off the beer cans using the can opener.

Step 3: Step 2

Cut the bottoms off of the beer cans using the knife to poke holes and the pliers to bend the metal until it breaks off.Don’t worry about ragged edges; this part of the can will be against the lens of the glasses so you don’t need to worry about cutting yourself.

Step 4: Step 3

Glue the bottoms of the beer cans to the lenses of the sunglasses using Krazy Glue or the hot glue gun.

Step 5: You're Done!

After the glue has completely dried, don your new beer goggles and see how much better the world looks.Every woman will be beautiful, every man will be handsome, and every child will appear to be above average.
