Hello everybody, and welcome to my first Instructable. First of all, sorry for my poor English, I come from Belgium. In this tutorial I will be showing you how to make one of the most easy origami and also my favorite one, the swan. No, I am not an origami master or anything like that, I'm a beginner to but I love to share my knowledge. Happy Holidays!

What you will need

A piece of paper. (square, any paper wil do)
At least two hands.
An open mind.

Step 1: Making the Base

Step 1

Take your piece of paper and fold almost every side except one to the center.

Step 2: Folding the Other Side

Step 2

Fold the side that you didn't fold to the middle backwards.

Step 3: Everything to the Center Again

Step 3

Turn to the front of the paper. (the one with the three sides) Now start folding every side to the center again. Check out all the images if you want to do it right. You can also see how the back of the paper should look like.

Step 4: Split It Up

Take the back of your swan, and fold the corner below slowly to the upper corner.

Step 5: Here Comes the Wings

Step 5

Look under the "skirt" of the paper and you will see a gap. If you put your fingers in it you can pull out a wing slowly, I say slowly, you don't want to rip it off. You can pull out the other wing of the paper to.

Step 6: Almost Done Now!

Step 6

Now, when your done with that, grab the upper corner with your fingers and fold that down. When you did that, you will start to see the first signs of the swan we are making.

Step 7: Almost There

Step 7

Fold the two sides toghetter, but be sure to pull out the "nose" of the swan.

Step 8: One More..

Your all done Thank you for following my guide and I'm very sorry for some of the blurry images in it, but I am using a webcam to take the pictures at the moment. Please tell me what I did wrong if you have anything to say, or if it helped you or not.
