Introduction: Belt Strap on Vintage Guitar

About: I make things, just like everyone else around here.
So we meet again instructapersons

I bought an old vintage guitar two weeks ago.

I could'nt attatch a normal strap to it because it only had one place to attatch a strap (if you dont get it, look the pictures).
So i dicided to go to the workshop and create a strap specifically for the guitar.

Over at the workshop i had an old belt.

It was an old beaten up leather belt.
So i cut the belt about the place where the holes were, and i made a hole that could fit into that thing to put straps on.

I found some nylon rope that i attached to the head of the guitar in one end and (with measuring) a hole i made in the belt in the other end.

And then it was done, and funtioned well.
I can even change strap length with belt pin and holes.

And now im gonna tell you about the vintage guitar

The guitar is from the brand Lignatone which was from Czechoslovakia.
This Lignatone is about 50-58 years old.

Link for more info about Lignatone

When i bought the Lignatone, the neck had gone up from its original position because of the strings.
So i got the neck in to place by getting the neck taken off and on again.

And just yesterday i changed the strings, so i can play it.

It seems that the fretboard and the neck is made out one part of wood.

The tuners are a little pain in the bottom, so i maybe i want to change them.
Do any of you know if that decreases the value of the guitar?

(i know i told you more about the guitar than i told you about the belt)

And here is a (not so) little video of the guitar being played with the strap:

P.S. Im a little nervous in the video so my english is not always good.
