Introduction: Bend Brake
This curb can be easily clamped in the vise. Before you clamp them too hard, the sheet metal must be inserted as far as the sheet has to be folded. Then tighten the vise and tighten the two M8 screws at the ends. Then you need only pull on the lever and press down. Maximum 90 ° so if you have less, just stop pressing earlier. I hope I have explained this reasonably understandable. I have built the curb so that I can bend sheets up to 1m wide.
Step 1: Derust and Cut
De-rust angle iron and cut to length (110cm)
Drill holes for the M8 screws and tighten.
Step 2: Hang Up the Movable Angle Iron + Weld Hinges
The third angle iron hang up, it should be ensured that it has about 1mm offset. So you can push through the sheet better if you want to clamp it.
Weld 4 hinges, alternatively, this can also be screwed. I decided to do the welding because I have the device there and it's faster. Alternatively, I would have to drill 4x 6 holes through 5mm steel ...
Step 3: Weld Bend Lever
I also welded the lever for bending. Could have been ruined too. But the roast is also fun and it holds. Although not soo nice, but this is only a ne help to bend sheets.
