Step 1: Gather These Tools and Materials

Steel dressmakers pins
Shoe lace
Needle nose pliers
Superglue

Step 2: Fraying

Fray the end of the shoe lace, about 1cm, using a pin. Cut it off 1/2cm below where the fraying ends.

Step 3: Pins and Glue

Place a pin through the frayed end and out through the unfrayed end so the pin protrudes about 2cm.
Clamp the unfrayed end with the pliers then soak with glue.

Step 4: Snipping

Take the pliers or a pair of side cutters and snip off the sides of the glued end of the dart so that it is shaped like a triangle not a square.

Step 5: Finished
