Large, thick, chewy and delicious these are the best chocolate chip cookies EVER!

Step 1: Gather Ingredients

What you'll need:
3 Cups Plus 2 TBLS Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
12 TBLS Melted & Cooled to warm Butter
1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 LG Egg Plus 1 Egg yolk
2 tsp Vanilla
1-1 1/2 Cups Chocolate Chips

And (these are a given right?):
Bowls, mixer, measuring cups & spoons, hands, oven, cookie sheet..

Step 2: Dry Ingredients

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Whisk together:
3 Cups Plus 2 TBLS Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Soda

Step 3: Wet Ingredients

Melt butter and cool to warm.

Blend Together:
12 TBLS Melted & Cooled to warm Butter
1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
Add:
1 LG Egg Plus 1 Egg yolk
2 tsp Vanilla
Blend until well incorporated.

Step 4: Finish Up

Slowly add dry ingredient mixture to wet ingredient mixture.
Add 1-1 1/2 Cups Chocolate Chips.

Measure a 1/4 Cup of cookie dough and gently mold into a cookie shape.

Bake 15-18 minutes and remove before cookies they look done, they will finish cooking on baking sheet. Do not remove cookies from sheet until done cooling.
