Poke a hole in the center of the empty tube big enough for the end of the pen to fit.

It'd be easier just to use a lighter and get the plastic soft on one side and push the cap through, then light the other side and push it all the way through, then get rid of the access plastic and you're good. It'll also hold the cap in place. TA DA

Just a warning, if you use a knife, be careful. I did that and the knife slid off and gave me a cut that I can tell will turn into a scar XD. So, yeah, be careful.

CRUD. I finally get through 1 side of the pen, but then the drill battery died.

you can use any cheap advertisement pens too

Well it works best with that kind, but i used a different kind and it's pretty good so yes you can use different types of pens but its harder.

what i did was i used a knife to make a small hole then use a drill to make the hole bigger

Hammer a (very) small nail into the pen. then keep hammering bigger and bigger things in until you have a nice clean hole.

Or you can heat up a nail and push it in and it will look much neater and stuff.

try using a drill, or an exacto knife or a lighter i use a exacto knife to start the hole then used scissors to make it bigger

I made it a bllion times easyer by just makding a small hold and putting the inside of the pen though than instead of having the whole cap in there

take a nail and a lighter heat the nail and melt through it
