Introduction: Big Combo Dinner
The best combo dinner for family weekend!
Meat and vegetables cooked in tandyr (something like tandoori oven).
So, we will cook tandyr BBQ pork tenderlion and warm veg salad. (As extra we cooked also a grilled corn and tandyr bread)
Step 1: Ingredients
- Pork tenderlion
- Spices (what ever you get used to) and salt
For warm veg salad:
- Fresh dil
This the best combination for warm salad!
- Corn in the cob
Step 2: Meat Marination
For meat marination you can you any spices (only salt and black pepper can be used also).
I used tandoori BBQ masala (mix of spices which includes coriander, cumin, dried mango powder, turmeric, salt, red chili, kashmiri chili, black pepper, cloves, garlic, shah jeera, onion flakes, mace, asafoetida).
Cut the onion into the rings, cut the meat into pieces.
Mix it in a big bowl, add spices and put it in the fridge (for two hours at least)/
Step 3: Tandyr Ignition
It will take take to make tandyr cooks (As alternative you can use grill, BBQ...whatever you have in the yard)
And as for home tandyr ( usualy made from clay) you need to start a fire.
At first hoe tandyr is black inside (it means its cold).
Whan the wood is burnt tandyr will be gray inside (it means tandyr got the necessary amount of heat and you can start cook)
Step 4: Main Course
Now its meat and potatoes turn!
Fill the tandyr bowl with potatoes and tandyr skewers with meat.
Put into tandyr for 40-50 min
Step 5: Turn of Veggies
After the eat is ready fill the tandyr bowl and skewers by vegetables.
Veggies for warm salad cut just in halves or quarters.
We had free space on the skewers so we added corn the the cob and mushrooms.
Put into tandyr for 35-45 min.
Step 6: Almost Ready
When veggies are ready chop them into the salad bowl.
Add fresh dill and any extra virgin vegetable oil and salt.
Step 7: Dinner Is Ready
Combo family dinner is ready!
