Introduction: Big Oak Table

Picture of Big Oak Table

I built this garden furniture in 2009.

Step 1: A Little History

Picture of A Little History

The wood comes from a barn built in 1930, which I had to demolish because it was old and shaky.

In its place I built a smaller one.

Step 2: Woodworking

To build the table and benches, I used: a chainsaw, a planer and a drilling machine.

Step 3: Detailed Images

I've taken these pictures today (2014 12 01), so that you can see more details.

Step 4: Assembly, Disassembly and Transport

Separate pieces, are not heavier than 50 kg.

I used 8 bolts, each 30 cm long.

I don't think it's meant to be moved. If necessary could be taken apart.

That is one solid table. How much does it weigh?

If you ever need to move it, please post that instructable too! LOL!
