Introduction: Bike Camera Mount

Make a camera mount/monopod/bipod for your bike handle bars. Quick, cheap and easy.

Step 1: Supplies

Parts:
-washer
-locking washer
-nuts (2)
-bolt, 1/4"
-1/2" mini clip/conduit hanger, i used part of a fuse holder

Tools:
-Drill
-Drill bit, 1/4", i used a stepper bit

Step 2: Put Together

Enlarge hole if needed. The hole on the bottom of my clip was not large enough for the bolt, so i made it bigger. Other similar clips that i have have large enough holes, but the clips are too big for my bike's handle bars.

Put the bolt up through the hole, then locking washer, then a nut and tighten.

Step 3: Attach Camera

Then put the second bolt on, and the washer. Screw the camera on all, or most of the way. Then use the bolt and washer to tighten the camera on.

Step 4: Clip on and Go!

This clip was tight enough so that it stayed on, even while riding with no problem. Hitting bumps moved the camera forward or backward slightly, but it stayed attached. Other similar clips can be fastened at the open ends.

To fix the fact that bumps cause the camera to aim up or down, i added another clip, with a bar between the two.
