Simple bike trailer.

Made from a baby pushchair, bike tube and broom stick.
Only 3 main parts needed and min tools needed to build it

Speed does not matter for the trailer as it has good build in shocks and tires are not super hard.
It follows the bike rather well also so its easy to pull. Feels very light

I may have got the good idea from you after seeing the trailer you made. I picked up a pram and a German guy who stayed with us sold me his bicycle when he returned to Germany...well, the hook handles on the pram arms slipped perfectly into some galvanized tubes I had. I drilled hole for bolts and used loctite nuts and the hooked handle fitted perfectly beneath the removable bicycle seat...yay. I can remove the removable bicycle seat and hook er up! Now I am going to offer services for cleaning computers and now I can pickup and deliver as a service as well...yay. ***Thanks a lot ***

i don't follow what you did here with the end of the broom, attaching it to the bike post. is this the inner tube from a bike? did you just slip it over the end of the broom handle and then tie around the bike post? is it just luck that the broom diameter matched up with the innertube such that it doesn't slip out? if so...that's freakin genius. you didn't have to use any glue or anything to keep it from slipping out?

What is are the relative merits of attaching to the seat vs. to the back wheel? Can you untie the seat/broom stick connection easily, or is it pretty much on there for good? Thanks. Nina

The tube is so strong but flexible also. U can take it off very fast less than 10 sec. After 1 or 2 years the tube might get weak if its in the sun. To untie u need to know how u did it so other people will not be able to steal it easy because it looks very tight but u can get it off easy.

Sure sounds easier than some of the other forms of hitches. Luckily, I just blew a tire, so I just happen to have the inner tube ready for recycling. Thanks.
