okay, simple easy steps over.

this step should be easy because the skin should automatically begin to peel away from the lower membranes.
warning: try not to cut through the feathers, and try to keep the feathers as dry as possible. when they get wet, they get sticky.

not really. and if they did, there's very little chance it is a disease that could affect a human. you didnt mean "virus" you meant "bacteria" there's a very large difference there. everything is essentially covered with billions of bacteria. there would be just as much bacteria on your hands as on a dead bird. IF the death was still fresh. limp I mean.
