Want a change from your daily cereal and milk? Trying to lose a few pounds without starving? This is a simple delicious breakfast that has plenty of protein and great crunch.
Step 1: The Nest
You will need a slice of bread, an egg, and something to fry it in (I use butter but if your in the "trying to lose a little weight" category you might want to choose something a little less fattening). OK, so first your just going to cut a hole in the middle of the bread. This is the nest. Now spread butter on both sides of the bread.
Step 2: Fry It Up
Turn your skillet on medium to medium high heat and place the nest on the pan. Add a little butter to the middle so that the egg doesn't stick. Break the egg over the hole and fry until the bread is golden brown and the egg is cooked to your liking (I like it over-hard but that's just me).
Step 3: Finishing Touches
