With this instructables, you get to have your bacon and eat it too. These delicious bite sized portions can be served as appetizers at any dinner or event.

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

You will need the following items:

Potatoes

Maple Flavored Bacon

Rosemary Garlic Salt

Shredded Cheese

Sour Cream

Chives (optional)

Toothpicks

Aluminum Foil

Baking Sheet

Knife

Step 2: Wash Ingredients

Always remember to wash every ingredient.

Step 3: Covering a Baking Sheet

Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Cover with at least two layers (sometimes the toothpicks make holes and creates a big mess).

Step 4: Baking Potatoes

After you've rinsed the potatoes, you will wrap them in aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Step 5: Remove Potatoes From the Oven

Remove the potatoes from the oven and cut them into bite size pieces.

Step 6: Season the Potatoes

Season the potatoes with garlic rosemary salt.

Step 7: Cut the Bacon

Cut the bacon strips in half.

Step 8: Wrap the Potatoes

Wrap the seasoned potatoes with maple flavored bacon and secure the bacon with a toothpick. Place each bite sized piece on the baking sheet.

Step 9: Cover the Baking Sheet

Completely cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil.

Step 10: Place in the Oven

Place the baking sheet in the oven. Bake for 30 minutes (for the first 10 minutes, the baking sheet has to be covered with foil). Remove the baking sheet from the oven, flip the potatoes carefully. Place the baking sheet back in the oven for another 20 minutes.

Step 11: Preparing the Toppings

Chop the chives finely. Remember that the chives are optional.

Step 12: Remove Baking Sheet From the Oven

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese. Place back in the oven for 3-5 minutes. Then, remove from the oven.

Step 13: Add Toppings

Remember to remove the toothpicks and then serve immediately after removing from the oven. Place sour cream on top of the melted cheese and add chives if you prefer.

Step 14: Serve and Enjoy

Enjoy this great delicious bacon appetizer at your next event.
