I think I'm starting to like this black and white color scheme....
I did this all with some cheap 99c walmart spray paint and some ultra expensive glossy clearcoat.
all in all? total cost for project give or take $5.
My keyboard was originally all black, and my mouse looked like this---

The only difference is that it had a flat finish and was more rounded.
I also modded my mouse wheel so It has momentum to it when I scroll through long pages. all i have to do is flick my finger down and the mouse wheel just keeps on going. :D
