Laserized Music

Laserized Music
Yes the I made up the word "Laserized" but once you see this Instructable you'll be glad to adopt it. I am aware that there is similar Instructables out there but I thought that this is a far less complex version because it is a simple and nearly costless way to make a spectacular effect with your speakers and a laser(s).

If you can find a party store that sells Chaunnika stuff, sometimes you can find diffraction glasses that will project star-of-david. :D

here is my end product. I built this like 1 hour prior to this video so I wasn't to sure what to play. I ended up playing Bob Marley's "Three Little Birdies" because its one of the few songs I have that have a true BASE (I hate rap) sorry about yank'n your chain about playing another song. I wasn't ready to find "Bus Stop" by the Hollies (my favorite song) so I didn't end up showing that song. also in the video the laser itself doesn't look that bright, especially when the laser get very broad loop like, but it is a lot better in real life. (well you know what I mean) hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed building it!!! thanks!!

ever consider just taping the mirror to the cone of the speaker? i did this in high school, late 80's, used the schools lab He-Ne laser, and used a synthesizer to make different tones. a sine wave makes a perfect circle. and as the waves get more complex, the pattern grows in complexity too.

Nice one. I made something similar to this and I found an old plastic cup that would wedge perfectly into the hole. It makes amazing designs.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Am8g2UsXntE is what i can do with mine with fog. Try it.
