I wanted to add a LED on my Logitech mouse
where the LED would blink when i move the mouse.

I wanted to do this WITHOUT using a PIC chip or a 555 timer.
So all you need is one led diode.

Step 1: Parts.

Parts needed:

- Mouse (i used a logitech mouse model: M-S48a)
-One LED
-Voltmeter
-Soldering Iron

I can't see your video, it says its private.

THIS IS AMAZING
NOW I AM GOING TO DO THIS/DID ON A BALL MOUSE/ SAME EXACT MODEL
BUT I AM CURIOUS TO KNOW IF IT"LL WORK ON A OPTICAL MOUSE
I"M 99% SURE IT WOULDN"T THOUUGH BECAUSE IT DON"T WORK THE SAME
thats cool!
Cool, might try this in the up coming vacation :-)
Although you got it to light up, I don't think that it will blink when you move the mouse... Other than that great job! Oh, and that video gives me headaches... tooo low of a frame rate!
"Although you got it to light up, I don't think that it will blink when you move the mouse..." Yeah it does...
Okie, sorry about that.
Really though, if you move it only along the vertical axis, it won't light. The way you have it set up is only for the horizontal axis.
actually if u watch the video it does light up when moved along the vertical axis alone
nicely done, great pix. I have several of that same meter, sweet.
lol mine is better the whole back of it blinks when I move it. It did this when I bought it.
