I bet this would be really cool and even bigger if you put flour down the barrel of a pneumatic potato/air cannon and shot on to an ignition source such as a tiki torch or Sterno can. I have not tried it but shooting flour alone makes a huge white cloud of the stuff.

You can also make flour explode, anything remotely brunable will ignite when powdered or vapourized, wonder how this would go with charcoal powder... or sugar (icing possibly?)
