Bow Tatted Necklace

Bow Tatted Necklace
This necklace was needle tatted using red crochet thread and regular iridescent beads, and a lobster claw closure.
I learned needle tatting from TotusMel and this is only my second original piece.  I used the beads so that the bows would look more separate from each other.  I thought about really making the bows separate and might try that sometime.  It will just take more time to do.

I made it up as I went along, but it ended up turning out quite nice.

Penolopy - I am so impressed with how quickly you are able to start designing beautiful tatted jewelry!!! I tried shuttle tatting over the years a few times and just can't get the hang of it. I saw needle tatting on this site done by TotusMel and fell in love with it!!! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your wonderful creations!
