Step 1: Roll Puff Pastry Between 2 Sheets of Lightly Floured Wax Paper.
1 square defrosted puff pastry
2 cups cooked apple
3 tbsp. bread crumbs
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon dash of cloves and nutmeg
1 egg, beaten with 1 tsp water
1 tbsp. chia seeds
1 tbsp. vanilla sugar or coarse sugar
Step 2: Sprinkle Breadcrumbs Down the Center of the Dough
Stir the brown sugar into the cooked apples.
Place the cooked apples over the crumbs to 1"-2" from edges.
Fold the ends over the filling.
Begin to cross over the slats covering the filling.
Sprinkle with sugar and chia seeds.
