Kinda Brand New Firing System

I came up with this firing system before I joined Instructables. I have seen a primitive example of this system that was from three years ago, but this person did not post any further instructables on this firing system. I already had built a prototype around two years ago before I saw this instructable. So please, dont call me on this.

Accurate
Long-ish range
Small piece count

Cons:
Not really powerful
Somewhat flimsy

Due to many people saying theyve seen this before, I shall state that this is not a new firing system
So stop posting comments that this is not new, because I will know if you have even read the instructable or not

Not new. Seen it before. Sorry. HOWEVER, I tried a much more complicated way of achieving the same result in which the ram is completely controlled, with no success, so I have to give you credit for that.

are you saying this is new? because it isn't. It is the simple transfer of rotation into moving a blocker down.

it isnt like a block trigger at all if you think about it because it is not blocking the ram with the trigger so ha!

well, from what i can see the firing pin is pushed above the barrel hole and the trigger is BLOCKING the way.

under the barrel and since I actually built it and have it, I can tell you that the trigger is not blocking the way it simply pushes the ram up into the barrel

it is new to the knex community on instructables, and I also said I saw another one of these that went nowhere I havent seen one since and, technically, it is not a block trigger because a block trigger is side mounted and true triggers are, obviously mounted the way I have this dont get mad at me just because I thought it up before you did!

it is stopping the firing pin from being lowered to reach the barrel. this mech was in the first gun i built, and it is much better and controlled. i might post.

and also, a blocker is anything that is NOT a true trigger but blocks the firing pin. Don't get to proud, it's nothing special.
