This is a recipe for a awesome breakfast I cooked up about a week ago. It can be prepared in approx 15 min (if you remember to preheat the oven) ('did you turn on the oven?', 'uhh... (beep beep) yep').

Update - I finally made the biscuit "ible" I promised, so now you can see how to make the biscuit dough like I do.  Homemade biscuits

Step 1: Ingredients

one slice of cheese
2 slices bacon (you can also use sausage)
2 eggs, scrambled.
biscuit dough; you can use premade, but I use homemade. (but thats another instructable)
table spoon of milk

and one preheated oven(450 degrees)

hmmmm...
strange looking bacon...but I plan on making these for saturday breakfast

cook real bacon in the pan first and then fry the eggs in the bacon fat. that way you don't need butter.

I am going to cook up a couple of those because it looks like fun. Looks like fun to eat, too. Thanks for the idea!

So cool! Where I come from (Curaçao, in the Caribbean) we call this pastechi. You can buy it at any snackbar and get to eat it at E-E-Every birthday-party at any day of the year! We usually use only one stuffing at a time; cheese(dutch Gouda), ground beef(beef with green olives and raisins), tuna or chicken(chicken with peas and carrots) are the most popular! But if you're a little creative you can fill it with anything!!! Happy eating every one

Thanks for the recipe!  It was so good, an my mom loved it (I made it for her for mother's day).  The dough I used was from an instructable for chicken pot pie crust.  It was flaky, but also warm and moist.  I tried some of it and it was amazing.  Thanks so much.

Sounds like good stuff to put in a tortilla, too!

These are a big item in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan! They ones I had there were made with hamburger, diced potatoes, carrots, onions and rutabaga, then served with brown gravy on the side. But they also made them with chicken, broccoli and cheese. Any way you make them, they're yummy! Oh, and they would dot the veggies with butter a little before folding dough over. Good instructable...now excuse me while I go make one!

My grandma, and her mom, and her sisters are big fans of these. They also grew up in Michigan. Nice 'ible!

Another shortcut you could take with the breakfast pasties is to use the already cooked REAL bacon bits they sell for salads. Makes it sooo much easier. Just an idea...

Hi was wondering if you or anyone could possible post your biscuit recipe that you used for the dought (in this instructable) in the comments because my biscuit recipe is too flaky and crumbly to make these. Thxs Jen

I'll try to make an "ible" about the Biscuit dough soon, but with my community college classes, and homeschooling. I'm really busy and can't promise it quickly.

could u just post the basics of the recipe on here becuase i can read recipes and i would like to make these? or could u email it to me please : ) . my email is jent13@gmail.com .

I'll give this a shot.  It looks good.

But not a chance this is going to be a 15 minute breakfast.  It bakes for 10-12 minutes, that leaves just 3-5 minutes to fry up the bacon and the eggs.  I'm betting this is more like a 30 minute breakfast.
Jent13 says: Apr 21, 2010. 3:28 PM
but maybe he made the dough ahead of time like the night before so he didn't add it to the time of making the eggs and cooking it.

I tried making this this morning. I LOVED IT. It was delicious. Although, it took me a lot longer than 15 minutes. About 50 minutes including washing the dishes. Instead of using bacon, I used ham. It was still delicious. Great Instructable!

This is a good idea, but unfortunately, I don't even have 15 minutes in my mornings. So I think you can use pie crust (for crisper results, or thinner biscuit dough) and bake it half way and freeze it, so when morning comes I can toaster oven the thing :)
Kiwipancakes says: Aug 28, 2009. 10:46 AM
I tried this and it was very tasy breakfast. The only problem I had is that next time I would use Pie crust instead of biscut dough because it came out a bit too doughy for me. I would rather taste my filling more then the bread so I'll be sure to do that next time. But great idea!

This was really good! Thanks for posting it!

I make these all the time they are great, you can add anything to them. I make them and take along they don't have to be hot. But you can heat up in micro. I make them with chicken and veggies too.

Awesome! I've been having a lot of trouble with breakfast recently, and not eating enough of it, so I was looking for something easy that would fill me up. Here it is! :D And way more filling than I expected - I cut them in half, and I managed to get through about half of a half before being unable to eat more (the other half of the half was lunch! Just that good). I didn't manage to get it anywhere near 3 hands long or 2 hands wide - more like 2/1, and thickness perhaps 1.5 CDs, but it held together really well. Comments: I know you have pictures of your oven, but could you include "Preheat the oven to 450" somewhere in the text of the Instructable? On some computers, images won't load if the Internet's running really slowly. Also, biscuit dough instructable please? :D I managed on my own, but it tasted a little funny. You have saved my stomach from eternal hunger! Thankyouthankyouthankyou.

This was very easy to make and very good to eat. It was good left over for the next day also. Next time I will add green pepper, onion and mushrooms, if I have them. You could basically add anything to it.

I didn't have stuff to make biscuit dough so I used pie crust dough (the kind you get in the refrigerated section) - turned out perfectly yummy....
scoochmaroo says: Jan 29, 2009. 2:21 PM
Seems like it would be a great use for leftover omelette too!
Gakki says: Jan 29, 2009. 2:02 PM
Awesome!
canida says: Jan 28, 2009. 10:47 AM
Looks good! I'm a big fan of eggs with a big scoop of whatever leftovers we've got in the fridge - can save you the step of bacon-frying.
shooby says: Jan 28, 2009. 7:55 AM
This uses a lot of energy for one meal...why not try cooking the eggs and bacon in the oven instead of on the stove?
OldBird51 says: Jan 28, 2009. 5:14 AM
