What a great and fun idea. I think I am going to replace the milk with yogurt and stuff it in the banana some how.

Think of the other things you could put in there... PB, chocolate, strawberries or blueberries. OMG yum!

Great ideas. The fun possibilities are endless.

LOVE this idea!

You could put anything in the banana as long as it pours. My husband and I wondered if you could put juice in then freeze it! Something kids would like

Another idea we had was mixing melted carob, peanut butter and rice crisps then piping it in! YUM. Thanks for this awesome idea!

We're always happy to promote a potassium-rich diet. Glad you like the idea.

Thanks for the feedback. Let us know how the other fillings work out. It might be easier without the milk...

This is great! You should come up with a "Lunch on the go" and "dinner on the go" variant... Maybe like a sandwich inside a tomato for lunch, or a steak inside a baked potato for dinner...

Lettuce wrap sandwich! sir, you are a genius!

I guess this was the motivation for KFC's "Double Down" (FOr those who don't know what that is, it is basically bacon, cheese, and sauce sandwiched by two pieces of Kentucky fried chicken.)
theawesomeninja says: Aug 11, 2011. 7:16 PM
Absolutely hilarious. Too bad that I don't like bananas or cereal with milk (I'm fine with cereal plain)

It IS a great idea but I don't like bananas or cereal,so it's not for me.
rudegirl says: Mar 23, 2011. 2:39 PM
it would be easier and faster to drink a glass of milk and eat the banana on the go!
Punknudder says: Mar 19, 2011. 12:08 PM
Wonderful. And SOOOO much faster than the 5 minutes it takes to pour and eat a normal bowl of cereal. Well way FUNNER anyway.
lol XD in reply to PunknudderMar 19, 2011. 1:27 PM
The point is to be able to eat it on the go, I don't think you can eat a bowl of cereal in your car or walking to work, but if you think its faster go ahead, lol
Punknudder in reply to lol XDMar 19, 2011. 2:29 PM
Honestly, I think the point was just to be fun and silly. And it is. Very. I showed it to my daughter and she had to do it RIGHT NOW. She did, made a mess, it was awsome. But if we're going to go down this road..... It's not a quick trick, makes a mess, you get about two tablespoons of cereal, and good luck getting the Cap'n Cruch into the banana! (I know, crisped rice...) And in the time it takes to do it, you could have just eaten the bowl of cereal.
If you really NEED to have something "On-the-Run", don't put the banana in your cereal and eat it in the car. And watching my daughter eat her instructables snack, I wouldn't want to eat this in the car, at least not w/ out a bib. Should I try to eat this and drive I better borrow the wifes automatic. Imagine trying to work a stick shift, drink a cup of coffee, text my boss that I'm running late because I had to stuff a banana, AND try not to spill said stuffed banana all over my lap.
But I'm arguing. I don't know why. Compulsion I suppose. I really like this one. It was fun.

Good point, fun but so messy...
Kayla Ree says: Mar 19, 2011. 6:23 PM
wont the milk make a mess when you bite into it??

This blow my mind completely. Such a great idea.
thingy says: Mar 19, 2011. 7:45 AM
The way the banana fits in your hand makes me believe it was created by some higher authority.... and the cereal of course.
bulletproofkevlar says: Mar 19, 2011. 4:09 AM
great idea seems more fun then "on the go" though ...on the go implies zero to no prep-time this seems less on the go then it is making a poptart. but i will have to try it sometime..
Asmodeous says: Mar 18, 2011. 9:49 PM
Great idea, but I recently eased up on bananas because of the high sugar content.
Houdinipeter says: Mar 18, 2011. 8:51 PM
can you fit that much cereal? i wonder if you could get a really thick organic banana..
angelabchua says: Mar 18, 2011. 12:07 PM
I am deathly allergic to banana's myself, but i love this and am going to send this to my girlfriend who is ALWAYS running late in the morning bc of her breakfast routine.
l8nite says: Mar 17, 2011. 9:05 PM
