Piece count updated! This is a powerful slingshot style gun. This beast can shoot up to 220 feet, which is farther than nearly every other knex gun on this site. This monster may look a bit strange but do not mess with it. It is insanely powerful. The trigger, bow, and track together can hold almost 100 pounds of force. It needs to too because this baby uses 16 or 32 #64 rubber bands. So basically think of this; take IAC's Heavy cannon (yes the biggest one) and transfer all of the power delivered to the extremely heavy ammo to my extremely light and compact arrow. Now do you see how this thing could actually shoot over 200 feet. Have fun and remember I am NOT liable for anything you break, anyone you hurt, or any mom you worry. Play safe and do not use this in a knex war unless you want to loose a friend. THIS HAS MAINTAINED A 5* RATING FOR MORE THAN A YEAR!!!!! Check out my homemade snow machine!

Lets start with the hardest. It does not require any modded pieces but if you do use one it would make pulling the trigger a lot easier.

OH MY GOD. This is INSANE!!!
Why Thank you. Please use its insanity safely.
BEASTLY

Actually from what I have tried recently, I know that this will shoot farther than any of my crossbows, its just the rubberbands that enable it to do so.
Electroinnovation (author)  Wicky5 years ago
I know BUT because mine has no bow it is a lot stronger and mine has 2 rails instead of 1. You can't really have 32 rubber bands on it without doing that. One exception is your huge crossbow thing.
I have a cannon that fires normal arrows and uses 20 thick rubberbands, also without bow...its all in the length of the weapon =o
Electroinnovation (author)  Wicky5 years ago
Exactly, no bow. Bows look good but you don't need them when you use rubber bands.

My gun looks just like yours. Funny I dont remeber looking at this instructable beforehand. Oh well guess (somewhat) great minds think similar.

I just nearly broke a block of wood (my desk) :)
Electroinnovation (author)  shieldsam3 years ago
wow awesome! are you using 2 or 4 strings of rubberbands?
The Nomlack3 years ago
THIS IS SCARY.

Mine scares me. Great job!

The parts list has a bit of mistakes. There are 11 more white rods and 2 more blue rods and 4 more wheels. Or maybe I cant count :p
Well it is the most accurate parts list that ive seen.
Electroinnovation (author)  The Nomlack3 years ago
Thanks I updated it. And im suprised I was so close because I counted every piece while it was still assembled...not the best idea :P lol
Also thanks for the best gun EVER! Better than the srv2 and i have enough pieces:0
Electroinnovation (author)  The Nomlack3 years ago
haha no problem im glad you like it :)
*is sad as he is exactly ten white connectors short*
really? I got 11 white rods short
I counted them.

Electroinnovation (author)  Merugop4 years ago
haha what do you mean?
If i shoot somebody and say that you said it wuz oke are you're gonna go to jail for me ?
Electroinnovation (author)  Merugop4 years ago
ohh no way!! yea well shoot someone if you want but ummm i clocked the arrow at over 80mph and its kinda heavy...so it may do some damage. But no one would go to jail. haha
robo man4 years ago
really how are knex fun
Electroinnovation (author)  robo man4 years ago
if you like hurting people in knex wars.....its like airsoft but you can make like a million bazillion different guns and all different styles.
DANGIT! I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH YELLOW CONNECTORS. BLACKOUT SAD NOW.
Electroinnovation (author)  mettaurlover4 years ago
You can always buy some off ebay. you can prob get 50 more for only a few dollars. I think 4 cents a piece
I know. It's just that I have no way to buy stuff online and the few places that still have K'nex only have the sets that are mostly micro and those pieces are the wrong proportions and too weak to make guns out of.
Electroinnovation (author)  mettaurlover4 years ago
That sucks. well actually I think there is a 400 piece tub at toys-r-us for about $20 with all normal knex. Thats where my friend gets all of his. I think he bought about 10 tubs so far! hahaha
Nowhere near one of those :(
Electroinnovation (author)  mettaurlover4 years ago
what about a target?
That's where I was talking about. They only have the boxes with mostly micro pieces. If I acquire a method of buying stuff online, I'm going to buy the pieces to make this and several other guns with piece counts that are relatively accurate. I have enough pieces to make up for most inaccuracies free from my pet project.

Wait but you have a computer, your mom might have a Visa, mastercard, or whatever. Then ask her to make a paypal account and pay her a couple bucks to buy you some knex. OR once my knex store is up i'll sell some to you. I was thinking of selling Heavy Cannons V3 for $79.99. This is a lot better than buying 400 piece tubs because with $80 you can only buy 4 which is 1600 knex and it has knex bricks in there plus there's TAX! I asked IAC if I can sell them and he said "Best of luck, if it really does sell I would want a penny or two." I JUST STARTED this website like a week ago so yeah it's not close to being finished. http://farmhobbies.weebly.com/

I do not use online purchasing methods ATM because my parents do not approve of my doing so. If they did, I would probably buy a couple.
Oh that stinks. My mom buys things online AT LEAST 3 TIMES A WEEK! Yeah, my mom buys a TON of things online. One time she bought noodles (instant noodles not already cooked noodles).
My (legal)parents are from before the time of the internet.

Then go to your uncle's house or someone and ask them to buy it for you?

They just don't trust the internet. For ANYTHING other than email, which they barely know how to use anyway. And anyways, my relatives all live miles away from me and very few of them trust the internet. The ones who trust it are either ten or in California. I live in Chicago.
If your parents allow you, could you buy from me? (When my website is actually done which would take about 3 months)
