Have an old hard drive sitting around?
Here is an 'ible to make a safe out of it!!!

Step 1: Materials!!! what Else?

Ok
1. old broken hard drive
2. money or valuables
3. A drill or screwdriver with a hex bit *i think that's what it's called
4. a hard drive case
5. A hard drive case key.
6. assorted tools....like pliers and flat blade screw drivers for pulling things out

Step 2: Screwy Time !

I'll show you all of the places where you need to unscrew......back and front

after all of the unscrewing, take the faceplate and micro chip off

SAVE ONE OF THE FACEPLATE SCREWS FOR LATER

Step 3:

Ok....after taking out all of the screws, rip out the insides...but be careful of the magnets...they are dangerous.

Step 4: Fun Time.

after ripping out all of the components, you should have a mostly empty casing. ready one of the screws from the faceplate

put it in one of the holes and tighten to make a kind of swivel door
then put your cash in
