Step 12Rebuild and test
Build the bike back up, and give it a test ride.
I decided not to use the existing gears and derailleur, I thought I'd convert it to a single speed.
Picture 1: I bought a single speed adapter from On-one for £12 / $24 US. This single speed adapter simply replaces the gear cassette.
Because the bike is a lot longer now, I had to buy two cheap chains (£4 each) and join them together.
