About: I am a student at UT Austin. I love to cook and I have a YouTube cooking channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/jonathanmalott

Hello! Today I am making Buffalo Chicken Pizza Strips, a recipe from Inspired Taste, and it’s actually one of my favorite dishes now.

What I love most about this dish is you only need 5 ingredients, (if you count store bought pizza dough as one ingredient).

This recipe originally came from Inspired Taste's blog.

I also included a video that you can watch to see how I made it, or just read this tutorial.

Step 1: Gather Your Ingredients

First, preheat your oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit.

The five ingredients you will need are:

  • 2 cups (210 grams) shredded, cooked chicken. (I used chicken tenderloins that I keep in the freezer)
  • 2 cups of cheese (i'm using an Italian cheese blend)
  • 1 13.8 oz can of pizza dough, the kind that makes a square pizza crust when unrolled.
  • 2 green onions, chopped.
  • 3/4 cup buffalo wing sauce (mine is medium heat, which was pretty hot)

Step 2: Prep Crust

Grease a half sheet pan.

Open your can of pizza dough and unroll it onto the sheet pan, stretching it out a little to make it about 10x15 inches.

Bake the crust by itself for 8 minutes.

Step 3: Create the Topping

While the crust is baking, put a medium saucepan onto medium heat and add the chicken and sauce.

Stir occasionally for 3-5 minutes, or until the chicken is heated through.

Step 4: Top the Pizza and Bake

After the crust comes out of the oven, layer on your chicken/sauce mixture.

Then, add the 2 cups of cheese in an even layer.

Finally, bake the pizza for 6-10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly.

Step 5: Finishing Touches

After the pizza comes out of the oven, toss on the chopped green onions.

Cut into about 16 strips and serve to a grateful audience!

This recipe is one of my favorites because of how easy and tasty it is. Everyone in my family loved it.
