Um, I know this is probably the wrong place, but I would love to apply these building techniques to some Mass Effect N7 armor, but I can't find any papercraft pepakura templates anywhere, and I've looked EVERYWHERE. I've seen plenty for helmets, but I would love it if there were some armor templates out there. I like the carbon-fiber appearance of the EVA foam armor, but I just don't like the idea of constructing an entire suit of armor out of it, even if it is ballistic foam.

I mean, some pieces would have to be constructed out of EVA foam for flexibility, especially the jointed spinal and abdominal pieces, but I think that resin armor would be so much more durable and better-looking than armor made entirely of EVA foam.

I do plan on getting into Halo, as yesterday I was struck with a very strong desire to play the games, which I do not have... and I would love to build my own set of Spartan armor as well as N7 armor.

Any help with N7 pepakura armor templates would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Yeah I used a cheaper epoxy to make my helmet. its coming along nicely you can also use this as well and it works pretty well and gives extra time to cover all of it in one shot.

guys, I know this stuff takes a really long time to make, but there is no way a whole set should cost more than 500, minus weapons. the fat guy on pawn stars wouldnt even buy it, and he's the biggest nerd on the show. just do it yourself for about 75 bucks and save your money for a used car

how do you scale the armor in pepakura?
Sep 19, 2011. 9:34 AMmistdemon123 says:
you need the pepakura designer. you can download a trial version free, but some features are disabled. otherwise, it can't be scaled. you need desinger, not viewer

Have you thought about making armore out of titaiam solafyed to the point that it is highly bullet proof and bulet proof glass bult in a stile that takes in light in the dark, resist light when its bright, and bult in a nassa worthy radeation proof stile? Titaneum actuly is not a rare mettle at all, but its like trying to tame a fearsome roge deadly beast trying to make somthing out of it. Titanum is radeation proof, resist electrisaty, is 10 times lighter waight then alunanam, and can be stronger then steel. It even resist agenced heat and cold.

With making the Halo armor I downloaded the free viewer of PePaKuRa but I can't find the blue prints to download and one time I did from the PePaKuRa website but I couldn't view or print it off. With the foam option how do you get the shapes or angles right. Do you print a PePaKuRa type stensil onto it or something?

Hey how much would you make the whole armour for and then post it? It's just I am not very good at following instruction or building things. Thanks
May 8, 2011. 10:29 AMMaster-Chief says:
My price for a custom Mark VI, painted and padded as you see in the picture is $3300 plus shipping. Shotgun is an extra $300.

Sure is expensive, it takes alot of time, time and even more time. Just the helmet is not for sale (in my price estimate the helm is $400), the entire suit is up for auction here: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120751716624&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT

dose it have to be heavyweight card stock or can it be normal printing paper?
Mar 26, 2011. 1:12 PMMaster-Chief says:
For pepakura & fiberglassing use heavy cardstock and for foam patterns normal printing paper.
Nov 8, 2010. 4:43 PMVatterix says:
hey is there any way to make this paintball proof? if anyone can give suggestions I am more than willing. I own a field so we are planning on spicing it up a bit with these aaaand I think you can understand I dont want to do repair all the time
Jul 18, 2011. 4:41 PMtinker234 says:
well it would be simple to add a layer of sheet metal to it then sprray paint it your color
Mar 8, 2011. 3:23 PMMaster-Chief says:
I don't recommend fiber glass for paintballing, it will chip, crack, and/or outright break. For paintballers I recommend making the suit out of 10mm foam floor mats. They armor is lighter and can stand up to paintballs quite nicely. Check out www.squidoo.com/how-to-make-halo-armor for everything you need
Nov 11, 2010. 9:23 PMGizmo64 says:
Well, it looks pretty sturdy, so I'm pretty sure you can play paintball with it.
