Introduction: Build a Gaming Computer, or Learn the Basic Parts

My son loves technology, we've built a lot of projects together but this is his favorite one. This gaming computer is his pride and joy. It can handle all of his gaming, streaming & recording needs, the FPS is top notch and the graphic quality is excellent. If you or your kids are gamers give this build a try. If you aren't in the market for a computer, this 7 minute video shows you every component in the computer. It's a great way to get familiar with the basic parts and introduce your kids to computers. Fair warning, you'll spend $1200 to copy this build but you'd pay WAY more than that if you bought this computer pre-built at a store. I helped my son pick and order the parts but he did most of the assembly himself. MIT, if you're watching he can't wait to enroll. Go Beavers!

Step 1: Watch the Video

This short video walks you step by step from an empty case to a working computer. It shows details of each component used, as well as how and where to install them. Build along piece by piece or just watch and learn to get started with computer building.
