Introduction: Build a Clock and Gift It at X'mas

Or things you can do with four overburned CDs, a clock kit of 3euro a battery cell and some imagination.

Materials

1 clock kit (costs 3euro)
1 battery
4 CDs
glue
some decorations for your unique clock
Imagination and some time


The clock kit I used comes from Velleman and it comes with two clolor indicators black and white.

Step 1: Lets Work

Firstly get 4 good condition old CDs , or use new. Glue them one by one leaving the mirror side in fron of you using it as a clock disc. Try not to make any glue traces or brake the CDs.

After that follows the clock construction. Its very simple and you will not meet any difficulties. Just follow the image below to do the right things

Now your clock is ready but its empty of decoratives. Ok if you like just keep it like it is. Else follow me at next step...

Step 2: Clock Decorations

Materials.
I Use some chips from old computers to indicate the 12/3/6/9 hours.


But the brilliant idea was to use plastics BB bullets for the formation of hours. I use the yellow one but you can use any colour you like. Beware how will glue them without leaving any glue traces in the mirror side of CDs. I use forceps to glue them. The final result may be let you speechless....


Look my clock. I aim to gift to my mother. At her room theres no any clock as i remember...
