Air_Assassin (author)2010-12-04

Can u still use it in a gun?

grogg34 (author)Air_Assassin2010-12-05

no it has no power in it and not a live firing pin

instruct39 (author)2010-09-05

very unique, i love it, good job/idea! 5*

CaseBoy (author)2010-04-27

to keep ink in rap tape arou d it

hammy10809 (author)2009-07-28

if you take apart a bullet and the primer is still good then you could fire it out of a 30-06 lol

sharlston (author)hammy108092010-04-20

or you could reload the bullet

pyra_builder_1337 (author)2009-12-07

good ible made mine in like 30 secs even use 30-06 lol

Knex Guru (author)2009-03-30

Just so everyone knows, it's illegal to have shell casings without a permit.

him9292 (author)Knex Guru2009-08-13

Depends where you are at. An empty shell should be legal everywhere, except for Britain. Now, if it were a LOADED ROUND, then you gotta be 18 to buy it and possibly to posses it, depending on state laws.

INSTRUCTUBAL (author)Knex Guru2009-04-24

oops...

Knex Guru (author)INSTRUCTUBAL2009-08-09

Yeah, I do too, it's not like anyone checks, it's like wearing a helmet.

weasel999 (author)Knex Guru2009-08-05

no its not i have like 7 5 gallon buckets and 25 1 gallon containers of various casings and nobody cares

minijotterpad (author)2009-02-24

great idea, i just made one works perfect! it looks so cool who needs a Parker Pen when when you have this.

sharlston (author)minijotterpad2009-05-20

lol

sharlston (author)2009-03-23

i made one of these with a fountain pen its cool thanks for ideas

downwithwikihow (author)2009-02-22

can you put a cap on this?

ME70003 (author)2009-02-13

ohhhh i just realized what u were talking about and yes i am using a pen not an ink cartridge... :(

Shadowfury (author)2009-02-11

5/5 faved. I would recommend not using just the ink cartridge, but the pen itself. Cut the body down to size, then the cartridge, reinsert the cartridge into the body and then glue it in. It solves the air pressure problem.

ME70003 (author)Shadowfury2009-02-12

there is no air pressure problem!!!!!!!! study a pen there are no air holes anywhere!! are there?!?!

Shadowfury (author)ME700032009-02-13

No, but the pen has air in it. To answer your question, yes, some pens have holes in them, but others have slightly pressurized bodies. If you do not have any air to replace the ink as it is used, the ink will be kept in the cartridge. This is because as the ink is used, gravity forces more ink onto the ball. As this happens, air is drawn into the cartridge to replace the ink.

ME70003 (author)Shadowfury2009-02-13

yes the pen may have air in it but i said to use a bic pen and bic pens have little air holes tword the tip even if there is an air pressure problem.

goeon (author)2009-02-08

Awsome 5 * faved

dondon107 (author)2009-01-12

except it doesn't work because the air pressure keeps the ink from leaving. you need to drill a hole in back i think

Chicken2209 (author)2009-01-02

I should make one someday...

berky93 (author)2009-01-02

darn! a few years back I found three boxes of empty casings that my neighbor was going to throw out (there was about 300 casings there) but now I cant find the box! that sucks I want to make one of these.

killerjackalope (author)2009-01-02

I've been meaning to make one of these for ages, I have a whole belt of 7.62mm shell casings... If I get a chance with the lathe I'll make one using the slug from one as a cap, the one on the end has an undamaged slug shoved back in to it to denote start and end...

xboxteen01 (author)2009-01-02

pretty cool

CaseyCase (author)2009-01-02

Very clever.

Kaelessin (author)2009-01-02

heh that's awesome! I've got an old 7.62 lying around back home that I emptied out . . .*wonders if it could work
