Instant Fuzzy Cave-Disco Go-Go Boots
Giant fuzzy boots with a miniskirt are almost a uniform for young women at burningman.
I wondered whether Ben Davis or some other industrial clothing supplier was carrying them. After musing on this topic for several years, I biked past this disco dome and saw this lady napping. The secret is now revealed.

All you have to do is buy a yard of furry cloth and wrap a regular pair of boots with it. There are drawstrings at the top of the fuzzy tubes to keep them from falling down below her calves.

Feathers suck - never bring boas... they leave tons of MOOP - keep in mind that 90+mph winds happen out on the playa.

Sometimes the bottoms are "shaped" to sit flat over the shoe... see also that she cut the shape of her heels out to keep the fabrics from getting caught up in there while on bike pedals trapezes, scaffolding and such. Some folks also like to secure is on the bottom with an elastic strap beftween the footbed and the heel to keep it from riding up like on her left leg. I also suggest lining them, since funfur is scratchy on the un-fun side... and installing the top strings with a bit of elasticks to help them stay on and up during alot of dancing. wheee!
