In keeping with this year's "Green Man" theme, this camp teaches people how to weave old plastic shopping bags into rugs etc. Some of them are pretty nice.

I've made yarn out of plastic bags for a couple years now by using strips and a serger, ( http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=79616 ) and bags are used in little tiny crafts, so its *really* good to see folks use them in something on this scale. I'm going to have to goggle these folks for info about the diamond knotted rug.... tho I had thought about setting up a "warp" over/around the kitchen door, so that you just weave in bags in as you get them.
