Step 3Complete half a butterfly
3) - turn - in 5chSp: { 3DC - TC - pic - 2TC - 3DC - SC } - SlSt - in 3chSp: { 2DC - 2TC - 2DC } - in last st: SlSt
3) for beginners:
(3a=turn) = so your craft is at the left, and your hook at the right
(3b=in 5chSp) = so all stitches between the following accolades must be put in the space you made with the 5 chain stitches in the previous row.
(3c=3DC) = 3 double crochets in the 5 chain space
(3d=TC) = 1 triple crochet in the same 5chSp
(3e=pic) = a picot: 3 chain stitches and a slip stitch at the top of the triple crochet you made in 2d
(3f=2TC) = 2 more triple crochets in the same 5chSp (the triple crochets and the picot from 3d to 3f should look as if you made 3 triple crochets with a bump
(3g=3DC) = 3 double crochets in the same 5chSp

(3j=in 3chSp { 2DC - 2TC - 2DC }) = the stitches between the following accolades must be put in the 3 chain space you made in the previous row, so make 2 double crochets, 2 triple crochets, and 2 more double crochets in that chain space
(3k=in last st: SlSt) = put your hook in the last stitch of the previous row, and make a slip stitch
(NL 3) - keer - in 5L-boog: { 3st - d.st. - pic - 2d.st - 3st - v } - hv - in 3L-boog: { 2st - 2d.st - 2st } - in laatste steek: hv
