Introduction: CLASSIC HOT CHOCOLATE 3 INGREDIENT

Step 1: SIMMER

78g Milk Chocolate

300ml Milk

180ml Double Cream

Begin by chopping the chocolate into small pieces. In a saucepan, bring the milk and cream to a simmer on a low / medium heat. Once the mixture begins to simmer, remove from the heat and add the chocolate. Stir until chocolate melts.

Step 2: SERVE

Whipped Cream

Chocolate Chips

Chocolate Syrup

Finish by topping with whipped cream, chocolate chips, and chocolate syrup.

Step 3: ENJOY

Looks delicious! I'll admit, I love hot chocolate, but I usually make the instant kind. How come you use both milk and double cream rather than just one or the other? Is it for thickness without having it too thick?

Hi, yes adding double cream / heavy cream makes the hot chocolate much more richer, thicker and creamier. It would still taste amazing with just milk tho :)

and yeah if it was just double cream / heavy cream it would be really thick.
