I made this crossbow from junk in the garage
<p>when its done! this is a amazing design good job. i saw your crossbow and its a <a href="http://archeryview.com/best-crossbow-guide-review/" rel="nofollow">best crossbow</a><br><br></p>
<p>I like the crossbow that you made</p>
I will upload all of the technical drawings and spec's as soon as i have the time.
<p>this is called INSTRUCTABLES.com, FACEBOOK.com. why no instructable?!?!?!?!???</p>
<p>I haven't had time to finish the instructables because of shcool and work.</p>
<p>no prob, dude. But maybe you add some annotations about what you did, how you concepted things instead of giving &quot;us&quot;/the community/those who come to watch a simple photo-slide-show.</p><p>Even a sketch on how you plan to build this, would help and open upen up for discussion and development: Tell us about the parts you're going to use and its function.</p><p>Don't take it the hard, but people here (most of them are tinkers themselves) are really pissed about publishers who just post stuff for gaining fame: This is a website for sharing knowledge and as long as you provide the knowledge, everything's fine.</p>
<p>Looks like something form Van-Helsing. :D</p>
Would love to know how this was made it looks amazing
very cool AND you only made it out of junk in your garage
i just redesigned the crossbow its almost done. i'm having a friend of mine machine the parts that i cant make myself. when its done i will take pictures and make a video then i will put it on eBay for sale.
wow this is a amazing design good job with the spring theory <br>and very resourceful goodjob amech3
I like this one. Great way to salvage stuff.
The crossbow will be done on july 10th, i will not be making an instructable but it will be for sale on ebay but i wiil let all of my followers on the instructables know when i put it on ebay.
i saw your crossbow and remind me of van helsing's revolver crossbow and i got a few question to ask you:<br><br>how does the bolt magazine turn after a shot ?<br><br>is the bow reload by the motor at the back side ?<br> <br>what is the range of this crossbow?<br>
what about the pistol crossbow in robin hood and the men in tights? lol
The motor retracts the bow string and the bow spring triggers a lever which is connected to a linkage which in turn rotates a spur gear that I have used as a ratchet
Is it battery powered?
Yes it is
Keep us posted this looks awesome.
I would buy a working one. Email me. nathan_Bellew@hotmail.com
You gonna post this? Looks like it'd be a pretty fun build.
Right now im rebuilding it, i want it to look way better then it does now my buddy is CNC maching the leaf springs as i speak ! but i can make an instructable.
