Let's see the recipe!!!

Step 1: The recipe

For 100 lollipop:

-1kg of sugar

-300g of glucose syrup

-A few drops of food coloring for color

-Few ml of flavoring for taste

-caffeine pills (200 mg caffeine pills)

Pay Attention must not exceed a consumption of 300mgcaffeine per day!! Knowing that espresso contains 170mg caffeine.

You Can find these pills on biovea website or ordering it directly to the manufacturer Natrol! You Can Aldo seek an other Brand. In my case i Just search on Google .

I think the biggest concern regarding the caffeine is this: Does is dissolve completely into an homogeneous solution? This will dictate whether your friends will get a pleasant buzz every time or varying doses each time. If it is homogeneous, I'm all for it in controlled doses, and as long as people know it's in there. Big business has been dosing us with this stuff for years. It's difficult to kill someone with it. Most of us are a bit dependent on it.

I don't like the idea of using the pills. If you weigh the pills you will likely find that they weigh in the area of 1.5g each - that leaves 1300mg of crap after the caffeine is accounted for.

I would estimate the weight of the pills and replace them with a good instant coffee. Maybe through in some whitener of dry milk also.

Caffeine Pills are simple to use and it is concentrated regarding coffee I would like to use natural coffee but it is uneasy to integrate in lollipop mix and the Taste remains coffee taste. Concerning it is written on the box that it contains caffeine, magnésium and so on I Will put a picture!!! If you Have a better idea for a natural energyzing product like ginseng or others I Will try it!!! It is a second draft so I'm listening for all proposals ;)

I think the pills are fine. For one thing they are easy to measure.

I use caffeine pills to caffeinate homemade soda. The ones I use are mostly maltodextrin (modified food starch) which is in lots of different foods anyway and though it is highly processed, I believe is generally accepted as quite innocuous.

for the example I used lemon flavouring which is ok but you Can try with others or why Not carambar (i Will try)!!
Concerning quantity I divided the recipe by 5 for 20 pieces!!!
If you try it the first time is always an experiment so in my case I tried twice and the post difficult is the caffeine Taste!!! Don't put to Many caffeine pills!!

Hmm, yes lemon or just citric acid would probably mask the taste quite well.

There's ingredients and "use a silicone mold" but how do you make the mixture? Do you crush the caffeine tablets?

True I didn't detailed enough for the mixture! You are right you must crush caffeine pills I did it with a spoon. I Will put more details if you want!!!
