Cake Mix Cinnamon Rolls

Our Church Congregation has a tradition for Father’s Day.  After church each man receives a homemade Cinnamon Roll.  Any suggestions made to discontinue our tradition are loudly vetoed by the men in the group.  So it continues.  This is the recipe I use to make cinnamon rolls for Father’s Day.  Here we go.

Step 1:

Recipe:
Dough
1 white or yellow cake mix
4 tsp. dry yeast
3 C. all-purpose flour
2½ C. warm water
1½-2 C. all-purpose flour
Frosting of choice (I chose Cream Cheese)
Filling
¼ C. butter melted
½ C. brown sugar
½ C. white sugar
1 Tbsp. Ground cinnamon
Raisins and/or nuts optional
 

Other Supplies:
Baking sheet greased
Bread mixer (not shown)
Measuring cups
Rolling pin (not shown)
Knife (not shown)
Cooling rack (not shown)
Cooking spray (not shown)

Any that I could make and send you would be stale by the time they got to you. You are a good baker. Make some and take them to work, they will put smiles on a lot of faces.
