MY way of thanking you all and INSTRUCTABLES, Is to do what i learnd from all of you. to put my first (many wil folow i hope ) IBLE. greetings from The Netherlands WannaDuino thats ME!!!

Bare with me that this is REALLY my first INSTRUCTABLE so i need a lot of improvement commends thank you.

Or not, then this wil be the BEST IBLE EVER.

Step 2: The Parts I Used

Picture of The Parts I Used

YESSSSS My First Instructable, (or something like a Instructable )

Because i needed good and extra lightning for my new hobby, making video`s of my diy projects. I made a simple LED light from old parts and a cheap LED strip. The parts i used are from my old Dell computer tower, i used the top for my base where i put the leds on. also to keep it as cheap as possible but also to re use old stuff. Bare with me that this is REALLY my first INSTRUCTABLE so i need a lot of improvement commends thank you. Or not, then this wil be the BEST IBLE EVER.

LED strip 5M ( 3$ )

Base plate ( free ) my old PC

Plexi glass ( 4$ ) not necessary

Camera mountings ( free ) from my camera`s

Needed parts to build

Solder app,

tape

cutter

stripper

Step 3: Cut the Strips and Tape It Stuck.

Picture of Cut the Strips and Tape It Stuck.

Its not that hard to make, cut in my case 14 pcs of 25cm strips and lay them all together as i did and tape it.(i placed the strips like snake way, just as from the role of the ledstrip) so it lookes need.Because of the tape on the front it become 1 piece and you can fiddle around with it, without loos them in what way it can bend or shuff.then you take your base, put it on there and look how it will be when its finished.

Step 4:

Picture of

then you can begin to make al your needed wires (in my case 24 pcs 12 red and 12 black. of 3 cm in my case. and strip them 1.5mm on each end and with them.

Step 5: Always Test During a Build, I Had 3leds on the 22e Row That Were Dead, So Cut It Out and Replace.

Picture of Always Test During a Build, I Had 3leds on the 22e Row That Were Dead, So Cut It Out and Replace.

then you can begin to make al your needed wires (in my case 24 pcs 12 red and 12 black. of 3 cm in my case. and strip them 1.5mm on each end and with them.

and then you can begin to solder i placed my strips in columns so i must solder from strip 1 to strip 3 and so on. and you do that also on the other side but in the opposite direction as you see in my pictures. so firts 1 side then the other. or elso you must by every strip turn your base to solder the next strip. but you can also choose to place the stips al pointed to the same side, but then you have to solder it in a different way. i soldered it like this because al the LED`s are spreaded and are not al in 1 line. And always test it if there are problems before or AFTER. as i had.

Step 6: Finishing It and TEST

Picture of Finishing It and TEST

Now we can finish it of with a piece of plexi glass icut.

just make some holes with a drill and use some risers to attach them to eachother.

And wholah we have LIGHT.

Step 7: The Camera LED Light in ACTION!!!
