Introduction: Cardboard Car
In this Instructable, you will learn how to make a cardboard car.
Step 1: Get Your Materials
You need to get the following materials:
Hot Glue Tubes
Box Cutter (or Scissors, however, a box cutter works best)
Wire Cutter / Wire Stripper
Hot Glue Gun
2 Battery Packs
OPTIONAL (but highly recommended): 4 Rubber Bands
OPTIONAL: Decorations (for your car)
Step 2: Cut Out the Frame
First, you need to cut out the frame of your car. I chose to cut out a sort of rectangular shape. Cut out 2 of these frames.
Step 3: Hot Glue Your First Battery Pack
Hot glue your first battery pack to one of the car frames. NOTE: DO NOT FOLLOW THE WAY I GLUED ON THE BATTERY PACK! Since I glued the switch of the battery pack upside down, I had to add an additional switch later.
Step 4: Hot Glue Your First 2 Motors
Hot glue 2 motors on the side on the opposite side of the battery pack like axles.
Step 5: Check the Motors
Make sure that both of your motors are spinning the same way!
Step 6: Repeat!
Repeat the past 3 steps, except on the other side of the frame. Make sure all four motors spin the same way.
Step 7: Wheels!
Cut out 4 wheels with your box cutter, making sure that they are all the same size. FInd the center of the wheels, and mark it. Next, take a wheel and slowly force the wheel's center onto each motor. Repeat for all of the other motors. ADDITIONAL STEP: Fit rubber bands to fit around each wheel.
Step 8: Top Frame
Take the other frame of the car and duct tape it so it covers all of the wiring of your car.
Step 9: Decorations
NOTE: This step is completely optional.
Use and make decorations to decorate your car!
Step 10: Finished!
Congratulations! You have made a cardboard car.
