Cardboard Lampshade

Step 1: Materials

Cardboard
Scissors
Paper
Ruler
Box cutter/ snap blade
Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks
Gold paint and paint brush (any color will work)
Lamp stand and light bulb

Step 2: Stencil

Trace a hexagon (3in sides) with on triangle as shown cut out on white paper. This will be your stencil once you cut it out.

Step 3: Cut Cardboard

Cut out ten of the shapes from the stencil on the cardboard. Cut the dividing lines across the shape only halfway through the cardboard as to perforate it. Fold into shape shown and hot glue edges together.

Step 4: Punch Holes

Punch holes in the shapes with strong hole puncher. Glue edges of five of the shapes together. You will have to sets of the ring of five shapes.

Step 5: Assemble

Glue the corners of the rings together as shown.

Cut strips of cardboard to go in gaps. Hot glue in as shown.

Step 6: Put on Lamp

Cut base with hole based on the size of your lamp. Glue to bottom of shade and screw lightbulb on top.
