Carl Sagan and the Cosmos

This year, my boyfriend and I decided to be Carl Sagan and The Cosmos. His was pretty simple, we went to a thrift store and bought the red turtleneck and tan blazer. He shaved his beard (!), slicked his hair to the side, and carried around his copy of The Cosmos (It was his Vinyl copy of the music). I went as the galaxies, and it was super fun to do. I went to the thrift store and bought a black dress. From there, I took bleach and water in a spray bottle, and sprayed  it all over. I then took spray fabric paint, and went along the edges with different colors. This gave it some depth, and made them look more like nebula's. I then took white acrylic paint, put some on a toothbrush and splattered it all over to look like stars. I took a sponge, and painted white inside of the galaxies, and I was done with the dress! To finish it off, I made a headband with some wire, and hot glued some stars onto it!
