Casted Portland Cement Table

This table base was made from portland cement. I originally wanted it to be a square but I broke it trying to get it out of the mold. I think it looks better this way.

Q- I understand it broke but did you attempt to use any re-bar or re-enforcement screen that was cut off after the fact?
