Step 5Pour ice and wax
Now, crush ice. For this, you can put ice cubes in a plastic bag, close it and hit repeatedly against chopping board.
Put crushed ice into mould and pour over hot wax. Don't worry if there is no space for wax. It melts ice creating strange paths. You must cover all the ice, because the top part will be the bottom of the finished candle. Do not move the mould in the next hour.
If you want a solid candle, don't use ice. Just pour the hot wax into the mould, but you must wait more than one hour. In this case, remember that wax reduces its volume when it cools down.
To wash tools, I recommend you first heat them and use a toilet paper absorbing rests of wax. Then, wash as usually with hot water.
